        Yes.

And Joelinton, given our lack of firepower ?

Sad day really, but the results since about Feb have been pretty shoddy, so it is no real surprise. Nathan Jones is the favourite. Perhaps he could get the team to make supreme efforts…..
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

Will be interesting to see what team selections are, and how we cope with a top flight side!
Of course we could suffer from your manager-less status with a caretaker giving a free rein or trying to impress!

I think you will have to battle with Bristol Rovers for Joe Linton ………

I was spared that dilemma by having a rehearsal with my band in London that I can't miss.

May the better Saint/Owl prevail this evening, saint/cloughie - my Saints have the kid-on Saints in Paisley this evening - six-pointer.

                      Saints 1(6) - Owls 1(5) after penalties

Looks like they were fairly even until a final missed pen!

Not a bad evenigs entertainment, Cloughie.
Saints were pretty shoddy early on, and the Owls took full advantage of an uncomfortable looking back three to slice us open early on with a good goal. Saints improved a little, and probably deserved the penalty just before the break. Saints , somewhat oddly, were playing something that looked very much like the 3-2-5, with Aribo playing a bit like a deep lying centre forward.
We did somewhat better after the break, and should really have won in the 90 minutes, but Wednesday made it tough. They are well drilled, big and solid with a bit of threat, and I should think they are well up to the rigours of a long promotion campaign.
Excellent penalties from both sides, and Wednesday blinked first.

'fraid not, anton. 10-man Perth Saints suckered us with a 96th minute goal to grab a point - disappointing. Two points separate Aberdeen in 3rd place and Buddies in 8th. All much of a muchness.

Interesting choice of new manager for you ts. Hope it goes well for you and we’ll be playing the Hatters but not the Saints next season!
