He’ll do it for his bus fares just for the big fish in the smaller pool competition with Sparky and the Bantams!

I hear Leicester City have suspended birthday announcements that are broadcast for fans - apparently fans sneaked a birthday message for one Brenda Nowt past the censors; also one for Zac Rogers.

As a lifetime Birmingham City supporter he knows the territory - I can remember from my school days after the Blues had narrowly avoided relegation from the top flight for the 2nd successive season one newspaper quoted ‘God looks after sinners, little children and Birmingham City’. I guess before automatic relegation from the fourth tier he had the casting vote on reelection to the league!

And in BBC Scotland's 'Chewin' the Fat' the banter boys from Kelvinside, James and Gary, said:' I believe they go up to every game to watch the Partick Thistle at Firhill, lose; draw or lose.'

Went to Paisley yesterday for what turned out to be not the worst scoreless draw I've ever seen. Buddies were a touch lucky with our goalie making a series of fine match-drawing saves. There was a lot of commitment on show through a feisty match on a rainy, windy afternoon, but we didn't make enough chances. Still fourth for the moment - eight points separate the bottom ten clubs in the SPL.

Keep up the good work JC.

Still not been to see our lot this season due to food poisoning, bloody covid, and good old fashioned indifference. The natives are restless.

Did see our women’s side beat a Birmingham side full of ex PL players last night though, with over 1000 attending.
Saints had to hang on in there against a quick and slick blues outfit, but won the game with a well worked goal late on, great reward for a gutsy performance.

                                Palace 2 Wolves 1.

Not an Amazon Prime subscriber so grateful to my daughter for providing her login for me to watch this match. First half lack-lustre but Eagles were all over Wolves in second half. Great goals from Eze and Zaha produced a win taking them to the top half and looking like they deserved to be there.
