Blimey, had no idea it was that long.it would be good to see them back in the league, though not of course ahead of your lot.
I spent a very enjoyable afternoon among their fans watching a 4-4 draw at Ashton Gate in the cup back in the day. Man for man definitely the loudest fans I ever heard !!

Three up three down surely long overdue?

Here in Scarborough, the people of the town are ecstatic, following today’s Northern Premier League playoff final against Warrington.
            Scarborough Athletic 2 - Warrington 1

The old Scarborough football club was wound up on 20/06/2007. The fan-based Scarborough Athletic Club was launched 5 days later, but had no ground, as the assets of the old club had to be sold. The new Scarborough Athletic had to ground share with Bridlington Town for 10 years, moving to the new Flamingoland Stadium (in Scarborough) in 2017.
Now the club can look forward to playing in National League North next season.

              Congrats, Eine. Great news.
And great result for Stockport - more exciting end to the season than we had all been wanting...especially Rob. Rooting for you on Sunday.

Mentions of Scarborough always reminds me of this track which of I recall was on the Harvest sampler Picnic but sadly not on the CD issue - presumably down to changes in ownership of the recording!
Back to football and the changing order and (mis)fortune of clubs shows an unprecedented number of fallen ‘giants’ queuing up for promotion alongside the ‘new kids on the pitch’.

It was running around my head too, cloughie, after Eine's mention of Scarborough - I also heard an old edition of 'The Likely Lads' on 4 extra that same day; the one when Terry finds out that Scarborough is one of Bob's middle names. Cue much hilarity in the church. Scarborough very much in the air.

With the emphasis on almost, Rob? This Real team are pretty amazing for operating in Fergie time. Personally, I'm quite glad. I tend not to favour a European final being contested by two teams from the same country. Could be a really terrific final - might even go to the pub to watch it.

Could have been much worse - damage limited after goal error! A real job to to do on Monday evening!
