I'm glad I don't have to take kids to football, especially at St Mary's. I'd almost expect to see pitch-side ads for the NSPCC.

It’s certainly getting a bit twitchy.

            Exeter 2 Colchester 0
            Barrow 4 Forest Green 0

Which puts the Grecians two points behind with five games to go, and momentum arguably on their side. It's going to be close, but at least it's looking more likely that there won't have be a pointless visit to Wembley this year.

What is very heartening for Exeter is that Cameron Dawson, on loan from the Owls, has had an excellent season between the sticks and maybe set himself up to be our No1 gk next season! May depend on which div we’re in, as we nervously chase a playoff place - playing MK Dons away today, which will be a good test!

Rooting for you, if promotion to the Championship means CD doesn't get recalled... :)

Saints managed partial redemption today for last weeks capitulation. Ralph set up 4-5-1 in order to get some defensive solidity, a tactic which was pretty effective in the main. Saints gifted Arsenal their best chance which Saka made a mess of, and with a hard working defensive display and a couple of great saves from Forster, Arsenal really didn’t do enough to have deserved a win. Ralph will be delighted that his plans worked out so well.
Great to see Yan Valery thriving in defence. He’s clearly got all the talent he needs, but his career has been very stop-start, due in part, I think, to some issues in his personal life. But he seems to be putting that behind him, and developing into the excellent player that he has the potential to be.
Good luck to the Eagles tomorrow. A tough task, but they have it in them to produce a result, and I expect to hear a big noise from their fans.

                      MKD 2 Owls 3

Massive win for us this evening - won it in first half hour then an hour of keeping a fighting side out!

6000 of the 14000 attendance were Owls!

Great win. Its all very exciting at the top end of L1.
And another twist this weekend in the Scottish Championship with two big results putting Arbroath”s promotion chances back in their own hands.
Massive game at Kilmarnock next weekend.

He looked very good in the middle when replacing Lyanco during the Coventry game a few weeks back.

Big Fraser seems to have made the GK spot his own again.

It must have been a hoot.
