Interesting viewpoint which I didn’t know about and would like someone more knowledgeable than me to confirm – Ronaldo to United selling many shirts won’t help United, as Adidas own the shirt as sponsors, so profits from replica kit sales will go to Adidas/Nike/Puma, not the club, hence the reason why sponsors pay so much to have their name on the strips. Is this true?

Terribly frustrating afternoon - yes, 10-man Chelsea defended well, but their timewasting, roughhousing and playacting towards the end were dreadful to watch. Even Azpilicueta, a player I usually admire, fell over in a penalty area melée, clutching his face having not been touched....Last edited by jayne lee wilson; 28-08-21, 18:38.
