Afraid not - Macauley Bonne (No. 18).
Had it been No. 17, they certainly would have been cheerin for Sheeran.

He could've scored it with his 'Ed, L.

Seems late goals the order of the day, at least as far as the foxes were concerned.

Well done Foxes! More silver in the cabinet....

I think someone called Grealish made his debut at some point....

I've always thought that, as with retaliation, you should get your equalizer in before the other side have had a chance to score.
Owls and Tractor Boys still unbeaten!

English club's new (American) owners smash tea urn .....

... spending record! Further evidence - were it needed - of the flight from reality of those who own sports teams came to light this morning when, following a Freedom Of Information request, it was revealed that Ipswich Town FC have broken their Tea Urn Spending record. The new urn cost £187.99 plus VAT. Long-time Ipswich fan Bobbie Duncan McCarthy Ramsey has pointed out that, for the same money, they could have bought at least one quarter of one finger of a semi-decent striker. The club have refused to deny whether the cost of this new item may result in a 'modest' increase in admission prices, but any increase in the cost of a half-time is likely to cause a stir.
This sort of thing is, of course, not confined to the Beautiful Game (or even soccer, come to that). It has been calculated that the total spent on 'purchasing' IPL players last time round was equivalent to 1,655,245,998.776 anti-Covid jabs or 341,976.882 new hospitals in the world's poorest countries.
            When will the madness end?

So the Abu Dhabi satellite club have now lost three of its last four competitive games including the UEFA Champions League final in May and the 2021 FA Community Shield yesterday.

Despite the signing of Grealish, such a super player, I believe the Abu Dhabi club will not perform to the same standard this coming season. Who will win the Premier League this new season, who knows. The Abu Dhabi club are odds-on favourites but I can imagine three or four teams in the mix.

Have you not been following the debate on the vexed question of the harmful effects of edding a football?' I would argue that the safety of Ed's head is of even greater importance than the future of Geronimo.

Sorry, it's hard work keeping up with things, L. I'm not the only one who's a bit Eustless!

Thanks Jayne, an altogether heartening display and result. We weren’t at full strength either.

Just remember that life's too important to be taken seriously and you'll be fine, old chap! I'm much more worried about my underperforming peonies. Over 21,000 at Portman Road yesterday - new era, same old failings?
