Back to the bread and butter...1-0 win over Dunfermline this evening gives the Buddies six points from two games in their League Cup division - keep it up chaps!

Are Scottish teams playing two seasons at once , as they were last year JC?
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Back to just the one at a time I think, saint...although I haven't been on my hols yet and we're well underway ...and Brechin are in the Highland League this year which seems weird cos they're only half-an-hour up the road from here, so they'll have to play Fort William and Wick...big carbon footprint awaits.

I assume that the cost of trips to Wick and Fort William must be a major headache for the treasurers of all the other Highland League clubs.

A trip across the Berrydale Braes in mid-winter is not an easy journey, L. All the other teams are up in that area between Inverness and Aberdeen, and I suppose that going north from Brechin is generally easier since the Aberdeen By-Pass opened. Folk reckon it knocks half-an-hour off the journey to Huntly, for example.
First game of the new Scottish premiership season for the Buddies this afternoon, after a reasonable start in the League Cup. First game is a trip to Dens Park against the recently promoted Dundee...can Big Jim take us beyond the mid-table mediocrity of last season? I live in hope.
