So LMcD, memory test, do you remember where that came from?

While we're waiting, in the meantime, or rather, in the meanest-of-times, I found Pie's take summed up my mood over the last couple of days....

It's not coming home until you learn some fucking manners. For tickets to see Jonathan Pie LIVE this Autumn go to JonathanPie.com

.....but the spat over The National's front page lifted my spirits...it's a game, after all...

THE National’s front page has garnered a fair amount of reaction from all corners. Some of that attention is, to put it mildly, negative ...

I'm afraid I had to call on Google to help me find the answer to your dastardly question.

Back to the bread and butter...1-0 win over Dunfermline this evening gives the Buddies six points from two games in their League Cup division - keep it up chaps!

Are Scottish teams playing two seasons at once , as they were last year JC?

Back to just the one at a time I think, saint...although I haven't been on my hols yet and we're well underway ...and Brechin are in the Highland League this year which seems weird cos they're only half-an-hour up the road from here, so they'll have to play Fort William and Wick...big carbon footprint awaits.

I assume that the cost of trips to Wick and Fort William must be a major headache for the treasurers of all the other Highland League clubs.

A trip across the Berrydale Braes in mid-winter is not an easy journey, L. All the other teams are up in that area between Inverness and Aberdeen, and I suppose that going north from Brechin is generally easier since the Aberdeen By-Pass opened. Folk reckon it knocks half-an-hour off the journey to Huntly, for example.

First game of the new Scottish premiership season for the Buddies this afternoon, after a reasonable start in the League Cup. First game is a trip to Dens Park against the recently promoted Dundee...can Big Jim take us beyond the mid-table mediocrity of last season? I live in hope.
