....only enjoyable thing in this game seeing 2 young subs Johnson and Williams shine....once again force-field in 18yard box, that all must puppet like dance around....surprised both goalkeepers didnt get 'frozen feet syndrome'....

Amazing goings-on at Goodison...wow...!.... wonder what the Record is for "Latest Ever Finish in an English cup-tie?"

Terrific strike for 5-4 after a lovely ball in...... some great creative attacking going on here tonight...

It was covered in the Guardian's Knowledge column a couple of weeks ago, but this match is now going to beat the record listed there (10.34pm, also involving Everton as it happens) for a match running to time - there's a couple of others where there was a substantial delay which went later.

So, choosing the Bristol City game, and the sky box going on the blink provided a less good evenings entertainment.......

Finally got it back working, ( the box, not city) .

I left the room, played the finale of Bruckner 6 and came back to find.... no significant event or change....
You could've played the whole of Bruckner 6 and there'd have been no change!

                  Well done Foxes.
The BHA defending for the goal was really pretty extraordinary.

Saints put in a much better performance to see off a somewhat depleted( by choice) and lucklustre Wolves in the cup. Our returning players made a big difference. Decent reward of a quarter final against Bompey, which will doubtless be played in an empty stadium.

Going for the double, Cloughie. Mid table security and a semi final !!

Thanks Sainty. A fairly rare case of Foxes doing something with a corner. Pleased for Nacho.

Fine win for the Saints and a meeting of our teams in the competition not inconceivable.

I don't know, but I hope they don't repeat the feat in the next round.
