Blimey. A disco indeed, with all the 70s faves.
I sort of dipped out at 1-0 with stuff to do ( ) , couldn’t believe when I checked the result.
Seems we have set a trend of losing 5-2 at home......

A game of spectacular strikes and penalties..... despite stunning top-corner efforts from Mahrez and Madison, goal-of-the-match has to go to Vardy, close-in, near-post, high speed from a low cross, less of a back heel and more of an adapted Cruyff turn..... remarkable strike.

I like it very much when I'm listening to the radio, jayne...it adds something to the commentary...makes it sound like John Murray and his sidekick are not just sitting in a studio. Doesn't bother me just so much on TV, though I often watch with the sound down anyway. Look forward to seeing the game on MotD this evening.

When he played for the Owls - the season that Barnsley had in the top flight - he scored the only goal of the match In the 90th minute - as we left the ground the streets echoed to the sound of D-I- CANIO. Can’t be doing with artifical crowd noise, I’m afraid, on telly or wireless.
Like JC, I often watch with the commentary off anyway.
As for the handball laws, the more they tinker with them. the worse it seems to get. Both Palace and Spuds were unlucky.

What I find crazy is the idea - put forward by a Mr Rodri - that a team that puts 5 past a top club on the latter's home ground is somehow 'lucky' - is he just a bad loser, or does he perhaps he needs a few more English lessons?

Why is that what applies to general population does not apply to football? I see that Mane played on Monday night has tested positive for Covid is now self-isolating. Why have not the players who he came into physical contact with on the field with him not had to to do likkewise? Does track and trace not apply?
