I sort of dipped out at 1-0 with stuff to do ( ) , couldn’t believe when I checked the result.
Seems we have set a trend of losing 5-2 at home......
Great stuff, must watch tonight.
Object lesson in how to take a penalties. Top left for his first, bottom right for the second... preceded by that steely Vardy stare. And he didn't play in the Premiership until he was 28.
Leicester were very well organised, shades of vintage 2016. City's defence were inept, the central defenders kept getting wrong side of Foxes' speedy strikers, panicking and pulling them down. Main story really.
Fascinating effects of crowdless games - most obviously a virtual dissolving away of home advantage, with many high-scoring games and late goals too. Connoisseurs of defensive play often have to look away now...the games have often been very open.
Nothing much the matter with VAR, but the handball law is absurd now - effectively removing the ref's discretion on intentionality.
How do you all feel about the stadium feed? Strong preference for the crowd noise here...Last edited by jayne lee wilson; 27-09-20, 20:02.

Can’t be doing with artifical crowd noise, I’m afraid, on telly or wireless.
Like JC, I often watch with the commentary off anyway.
As for the handball laws, the more they tinker with them. the worse it seems to get. Both Palace and Spuds were unlucky.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
I am not a number, I am a free man.

What I find crazy is the idea - put forward by a Mr Rodri - that a team that puts 5 past a top club on the latter's home ground is somehow 'lucky' - is he just a bad loser, or does he perhaps he needs a few more English lessons?Last edited by LMcD; 28-09-20, 07:40.

Why is that what applies to general population does not apply to football? I see that Mane played on Monday night has tested positive for Covid is now self-isolating. Why have not the players who he came into physical contact with on the field with him not had to to do likkewise? Does track and trace not apply?
