A forum triumph for Constantbee! Well done to them - another Yorkshire side in the league - but an irony to see their juxtaposition with York! They ‘ll probably meet the Owls in League One after next season!

I loved the Bundesleague highlights, 8thob, and that was where I first saw De Bruyne and Aubameyang...I recall being amazed at the time when talking to a Chelsea fan, that they had let De Bruyne go. The thing about Aubameyang might be that he's one of those players who is great in a team when he's the best player, but might disappear if there are other people in the team to focus on. I wonder the same about Grealish, for example.

....I didn;t quite realise all the commercial reasons for National North/South teams having 3G pitches....the fact that they can be trained on, used for multiple teams and also hired out for other ocassions....So EFL teams playing on grass, have to have other facilities to overcome over use of this grass....

....I'll be listening to Championship Final on TalkSport tonight.....come on Brentford....

....Yes John Corrigan good point ref Grealish....hope ManU don't make any plunge myself....

I don’t doubt Grealish, he has looked weighed down by the responsibility he has carried. Needs the opportunity to exploit his passing ability by having choices to make. I see so much in his game that he will carry into a good side. And his on-pitch attitude is top class. Will he psychologically adapt to not being the main man? Or perhaps even at a big club he can become the main man. Whatever, he and his agent need to choose wisely......
However, the point about players being good in a great team , or great in a bad team is well made.
Dean Saunders was a great player in poor teams, IMO.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Neil Redfearn at Barnsley and your very own Matt Le T come to mind!

I didn't know that either. Harrogate Town have a 3G pitch. Don't ask me what that means. It's something to do with the infilling of the artifical pitch or something. Anyway, they will start next season ground sharing with Doncaster at the Keepmoat Stadium. Work started on replacing the 3G pitch with grass just yesterday, in fact.

The north east produces some of the best turf in the country, or so we hear, so it'll probably be from a local supplier. It's certainly been wet enough to produce plenty this year.

When Charlie Adam was sent on loan from Rangers to Love Street he was far and away the best player in the team - everything went through him. He was the guy who took the free kicks and the corners and the like. I never thought he was so good when he went back to Ibrox, but then he was a one-man operation when he was loaned to Blackpool and was pivotal in getting them promotion. I think he might have got Player of the Year in the season in the Premier division. Liverpool came calling and he signed and then drifted - I thought at the time that he was someone who needed to be engaged all the time on the park, which was why he was so great with the Buddies and Blackpool, and less so with Rangers and Liverpool. (my theory)

Good player. Always liked watching him.

I noticed that Rangers are currently playing two seasons at the same time. We have enough trouble playing one season at a time.

What IS it with soccer players (past and present)? After Paul Scholes received a visit from the police for a chat about his party, 8 Aberdeen players are in self-isolation, 2 of them being confirmed as having the virus. They visited a bar in clear contravention of their own club's instructions, and the full implications of their incredibly selfish behaviour for upcoming SPL fixtures are as yet unclear.

I think we've a few teams involved in last year's cup competitions, ts...Scottish Cup and League have still to finish...that's Rangers out of Europe now, so we can ignore them for a bit.

Deduct points from the Dons, L, and plenty of them...that's what I say...the Buddies need all the help they can get.
