Well that was mostly dire wasn't it? Commentary remained at a soporific murmur. This is the Premiership?

...Poor old Pogba, loping around, no-one passing to him...
Then a sudden flaring up of excitement, end-to-end, and a goal! Gosh.....

Cold, wet night, little to redeem, where's the cognac.....wondering what RB Salzburg are really like when they don't score six....hope they haven't got anyone called Verstappen...

That equaliser has been coming really.

      Great VAR for once.

      United in trouble here.

Surely one of the worst televised Premiership games ever that.

I wonder if Fred, if used correctly ( not sure how that is) might still turn out to be a useful asset for united. But he has much to prove.
Rashford was very poor at SMS, whereas last year he was the MOTM by a mile.
Fred cost £52 million and couldn't even get in to the starting line of Man Utd's injury hit team. So many players have not been able to cope with the expectations and intense pressure of playing at Old Trafford.

Another struggling player is Arsenal's Pépé at £72 million. Ex Palace manager Simon Jordan has this very minute said on the radio that Pépé "couldn't trap a bag of cement."

My God Spurs, you've met your match tonight.....
            Phew. Besides the precision-finish Gnabry (4?!), Lewandowski is a genius....amazing skills for Bayern's 2nd....

I mean.... what can you do? Oh....another one now....(at half time I said: probably end up 2-6....

Think of myself as a good loser BUT

conceding to the European Champions away in the 94th minute is a real sickener!

On a positive note, Im pleased Nathan Jones finally got a win!

Bairns 2 Raith Rovers 2. Not much dancing in the streets of Raith tonight. Or here if it comes to that.

Not far behind you, Rob. That's no goals for the Budds in the last three - well cuffed by 'Well at Fir Park yesterday, two to nowt. Second bottom.

About the only good thing about todays game was that it wasn’t our week for the tickets.

A truly feeble and defensively incompetent performance from Saints, against a not very special Chelsea side.
You might think that Ralph has lost the players. It certainly looks that way. Perhaps the departed coach really was the brains.
But we are in big trouble, trouble that might have been much less had we broken the bank to get, for example Cahill in, to solve our obvious defensive failings.

                          Back to music.........

( Well done honorary forum team Wolves. They are next up for us. And surely it is now ir never for Liverpool?)

Brucie bonus for you, BBM. I enjoyed a comment on the BBC website - 'Fred should be playing in the Rugby World Cup; he never passes the ball forward'.

Owls 1 Wigan 0 - the Championship is crazily anybody’s. Currently 8th 3 points behind the leaders. Looks like the Prem is following suit where Liverpool excepted, any team can beat any other!
