Really sorry to see that result ER.

Liverpool fans hoping to see the Final face a long search for tickets. Can't be right surely that the club keep back 1600 for its players and staff surely ?

Well we made it, but I'm glad that's over....! Scarcely enjoyed a single minute...
UEFA need a refs seminar on the distinction between intentional handball and ball-to-hand....
Liverpool coaching needs a seminar in....possession, especially in the 2nd half when you're ahead.....
I wish Klopp wouldn't substitute Firmino for Solanke with 10 minutes left, whatever the score....

The game became so open, so fast, I was never relaxed even at 1-2... as with the equally astounding Real 2-2 Bayern, you felt just about anything might happen, right up the the last minute (which it did, in both games...)...

Thank God the CL Final isn't over Two Legs. My heart would never cope. It will (almost certainly) be tense enough anyway.... Istanbul made my pulse race very unpleasantly... you want edge, you want excitement, but.....

Rather than Atletico Madrid v Arsenal tonight I'll be watching Boreham Wood v AFC Fylde in Vanarama National League Play-Off Eliminator Round. Up the 'Coasters'.

Our under 23s have already bagged the Southampton senior cup with a 6-0 demolition of Blackfield and Langley last night, so the ex Saints picking up more silverware would be good........

Arguably there should have been a substitution. Iwobi?

But perhaps Koscielny and Griezmann get along too well?

To my mind, this all re-raises the "where do your sympathies lie?" discussion.

With Wenger, it's Arsenal. With Ozil, it was often the German national team.

Koscielny may not have wished to be known in 2018 as the man who was anti Atletico Madrid.
Koscielny injured with no one near him and stretchered off.

You heard it here first as per above.

                        Fake injury?

Fake team more like. Pretty football - but no heart! Where was Mesut Özil? Gone missing as usual. Surely a new manager will embark on a wholesale clear-out.

Coasters got beaten by Boreham Wood.

I felt that Fylde didn't really go for it tonight Stan but still fair play to them, they have come a long way in a very short time.

Atletico Madrid 1 Arsenal 0 Gunners out 2-1 on aggregate

Tonight AFC Fylde looked strangely lacklustre. The table doesn't lie and it shows they let in far too many goals. Stating the obvious - If they shore up that defence next season they will surely have success.

Next television watching - Man Utd away to Brighton on tomorrow.

Who'd be an away supporter - According to the news after last night's game against Roma the Liverpool fans were locked in Stadio Olimpico for 2 hours for their own safety.
