TBs into the 5th round of the FA Cup for the first time in 18 years (not that it's our top priority, you understand).

Saints didn’t manage to crack the Burnley defence. Unsurprisingly.
Sounds as if several of our “ star” players are unhappy.
They should try paying to watch the desperate stuff they have served up all season.

I spent the day , or some of it , at a record fair, which , even with a couple of purchases was more fun( almost certainly) and cheaper ( definitely).

Got a vinyl copy of Elvis Costello’s Get Happy ! And Colin Newman’s Commercial Suicide, both of which might be seen to be somewhat appropriate .

I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

No but having a good run out and scoring a few goals will boost confidence!

Meanwhile Baggies 2 Owls 1 - fightback failed but positives there with injuries before and during match not helping the cause. We fight on!

          Anton - tidy away win.

ts - Burnley are a tough nut to crack - the wrong Armstrong scored at the Hawthorns!

My brother has booked he and I in with our Burnley supporting cousins for a trip to Turf Moor in a couple of weeks to see the Clarets take on the Owls - not expecting a goal fest; but the relatives were shocked when I said that I would have split loyalties. I may get excommunicated from the Christmas card list.
Buddies not on show till tomorrow evening against the Jam Tarts for a ball in the hat for the last eight...not confident.

A better showing from the beleaguered Foxes and unfortunate to go out to a clearly offside last minute winner. On the other hand United were getting on top by then and doubtful that extra time would have yielded anything for Ruud’s men.
              Let’s concentrate on the league!

I hope your split loyalties are influenced by Forum - would be good to buck the trend and come away with a pleasnt result - not least because a choir colleague is a Claret!

A late goal from a former player is always hard to take!

Amazing result from Ibrox today where Queens Park saw off the home team one-nil with their goalie saving a last minute penalty from the Rangers captain - interesting to see if Clement sees the night out. Humiliating result - might turn up for Sportscene this evening. Well done to Callum Davidson and his Queens Park outfit.

First time Queens Park had beaten Rangers since 1948, ts. One of my Celtic supporting correspondents wrote this morning quoting the old ad, 'If Carlsberg made dreams, this is what they would look like!'

i was trying to think of another last minute pen save like that to win a big game. I couldn’t bring one to mind, though there must have been plenty.

Unfortunately, but not surprising, the Buddies didn't follow the Spiders into the quarters. Lost a late goal in normal time and then got cuffed in penalties ...concentrate on finishing in the top ten in the league, I suppose.
