Some good results there, well done Hartlepools and the Paisley Saints. Nice work.

Back to back away wins for us, lots of work to do, but at least we have made a decent start, albeit with some very late goals.
got to hope that Che and Nathan stay around for the season.

could be this season’s Wrexham, anton!

Owls still a work in progress - if only that progress could be quicker!

Good start for the Foxes too. Their old boss, the returning Brendan Rodgers, saw his Celtic team fall at the last sixteen of the Deep-Fried Cadbury's Cream Eggcup..Saints have an away tie v the Hibees in the quarters..You've got to be in it to get knocked out of it, I say.

                          Desperate stuff Cloughers.

Rotherham United 1 Leicester City 2

Foxes doing well as kindly noted by JC.

Brendan needs new players at Celtic.

Does anyone know … what is behind the Ipswich revival? New backers or just good management?

Not sure about backers, though there does appear to be money available to them, but since McKenna arrived in 2022 they have built a good attacking side - their additions in last January window meant they were free scoring and largely unbeatable in the 2nd half of last season and seem to be continuing that in the championship. I was surprised that Leicester let them buy Hirst as I thought he would have been a good part of your tier 2 campaign, but you seem to be flying anyway!
Next up for us is Leeds at Elland Road - would ove a shock result there but expecting nil points and a further dent in our GD!

My Ipswich supporting colleague puts it down to the manager, FWIW.

Saints still keeping in touch, but lots to do to stay competitive with Tella gone and Jack Stephens having a seemingly bad injury, not to mention Che Adams’ likely departure. A busy week ahead,
Great start to the season for Leicester.
