I do wonder at the effect of the almost-forgotten (and best-forgotten....) World Cup on form and scorelines generally. Injuries, and the mentality thing. Probably more surprises to come....

Not looking great, Alison...in the brief highlights that I spotted last night, Brendan's mob seemed rather profligate in front of goal, though I was struggling to work out who was who without all the wise words in the background, and Chelsea's rather non-Chelsea-like strip.

No game for the Buddies this week as it's Scottish Cup quarter-final weekend - somewhere along the way we've dropped down to sixth.
