Looks like no such problems for the Wednesday of Sheffield who seem to have had a no-holds-barred afternoon v Cambridge...up to second from the looks of things. Buddies in 5th, by the way, ten points clear of the automatic relegation spot.

Bit of difference between Cambs and Toon, anton - but at least we’ve had some scoring practice. Indeed jc we are actually 2nd -taken half the season to get there, despite being 3rd for many weeks! I guess you’re not totally unhappy with the Buddies’ season so far!

Good games, although Seagulls v Gunners, lost 4-2, they had a good game. The same with The Magpies, Leeds.

Great result for the Owls. They are a tough competitive outfit.

After a truly abysmal effort against Forest in the week, a real low point, Saints seem to have turned up with a bit of attitude at Selhurst Park which has not been a bad ground for us over the years.

Perhaps a much needed boost from this and the signing of Orsic will start to help turn things round. There is a long road ahead.
