Thrilled beyond belief for you and your fellow Hatters fans Edgy, no club (or fan) deserves it more and talk about ending the season in style, head and shoulders above your nearest rivals. I know it's a school night but I hope you get legless well into next week.

Looking forward to that pint next season :-)

It's been a very long and at times painful 11 years but we are back in the football league, where I think we belong

What a wonderful day this is!

Brilliant, Rob...so delighted for you and all at Stockport. Hope you're having a great evening.

Buddies managed to shut out our old pal, the very grouchy Big Jim Goodwin's Dons this afternoon and finish above them in the final analysis - 9th for the Buddies...but better to be first, don't you think, Rob?

Obviously I don’t wish relegation on other clubs( well except the residents of Nottarf Krap of course) , but if I had to make one exception it would probably be Everton.

Which isn’t going to happen now.

Rather thought they’d get out of it! Will take no pleasure from seeing Burnley or Leeds go down.

I’ll happily see Leeds go down - maybe that’s in an Owl’s DNA!

No special preference as to who goes down but sorry to see Palace lose three points and the chance of highest ever Prem League position.
Also sorry to see nearest local team, Swindon Town, miss out on play-off final after letting slip a two goal lead in the shoot-out.

I think it would be a generally popular choice, Cloughie !!

Disappointing for my Turf Moor cousins, 8thob. The Clarets had that run a month or so ago and I feel they saw the finishing tape far too early and froze. Hope they're not too long away.

....is it the end of 'smash and grab john....sad.... I gave up on Manchester Reds [60 years] after the Super League debacle, and luckily had Burnley only 10 miles away....happy for Leeds who were once a 'hate' team, a lot of people around here are Leeds posse....I love smash and grab and wouldn't want it to just disappear from upper echelons....<big thumbs up mate and all forum friends>

....wondering how ManRed managed to finish 6th with dross they served up....[sorry Mario , no offense meant, just observation...]
