Absolutely brilliant free kick this evening by M'changama for 10-man Comoros in their defeat to the hosts.
Yes, I was watching that! We've seen quite a few spectacular free kicks, but that was a long, long way out wasn't it? And hit fairly straight and flat. But Cameroon took a grip again after that (and made the most of their injuries...). But only 3 minutes added time?!
With the Winter Break upon us here (despite all that backlog....) I'm rushing to catch up with CAF now its in the knockout stages....1/4 Finals at the Weekend...
But who do I support? Maybe Egypt or Senegal....
Guinea are out, so at least Naby Keita can take a break for a while....

That's terrible news about the crush outside the stadium before the game last night - reports saying at least eight dead and dozens injured.
Sitting nicely just outside a zone. Not sure what the zone is for, but doubtless that will become clearer over time….
The Scottish Premier league splits after 27 games, ts - top 6 and bottom 6, and then play the last five games for relegation etc. Buddies have never made it into the top half - always have the threat of the trap door staring us in the butt, the way it has been most of my life, to be frank.

It casts a long, dark shadow.... and now Mané left on the pitch until collapsing with concussion (great strike though...!)? Leaders need to get a grip.....
But the CAF can recover, like the Euros after Eriksen's heart attack. Keep the Spirit alive.
Salah back for Egypt later, and last-8 should be very attractive at the weekend..
St Mirren's game against Dundee postponed and not because of covid - too much wind in Dundee today. It's much the same out here. Power survived so far.
I see the lazy, pampered Premier League has a rest this weekend! As usual the BBC can’t be bothered with a ‘Final Score’ for the 72 EFL clubs and Scotland or the National League - typical!
