Think he’s been here longer than that 8th on and off.
Culture hmm, the timing is very odd though unless there’s been a major falling out with the owners.
It’s been a strange football day what with Liverpool losing to Burnley too but nothing should surprise us.

I could imagine Jim Gannon having a short fuse somehow.
Back room bust up my uneducated guess.
Got to be.
He is certainly a fiery character
Just feel a bit deflated, new owners spending a lot of money by non league standards, club back to full time, a legend as manager and handily placed in the league but we have to move on

Ah! I had to look that up - Sean Dyche, the Burnley manager? I don't know how rich or poor Burnley are compared with the Glamorous Big Clubs, but I bet the club's owners/backers are pretty pleased with him and the team this morning!

Now who said this – Genghiz Khan? Gore Vidal?
At any rate, whilst I’m pleased that those who compete with Man Utd drop points, I empathise (but not sympathise) with those supporters. I too can feel the pain when MY team loses.
So, jlw, sorry you’re feeling down. I don’t know if you go through the same emotions that I do. I don’t mind too much when Man Utd lose having played well, but to lose having played badly?
What on earth were Liverpool up to last night? They were but a pale shadow of their former selves. And the next half a dozen games are tough.
Credit where it’s due. Burnley defended admirably, didn’t they?
