True, but Big bro was playing soccer, it doesn't count

Forum derby on Satdee , Foxes v Saints.
My lot are down to bare bones due to continued injury and health issues. We’ll probably be able to field a competitive 11, but the bench will be very young. Still, it worked against Liverpool, so who knows. Could be a good game with two strong counter attacking teams. Although I’m never really sure how that works out........
Ings has just returned to training after a positive covid test.

Buddies had their appeal against the forfeit of two games earlier in the season upheld this afternoon, and had the fine for breaching covid protocols halved. 'A victory for common sense,' said Buddy legend and chief exec, Tony Fitzpatrick, Now for six points versus the kid-on Saints tomorrow. Next we'll have Big Jim Goodwin complaining about fixture pile-up, I suppose.

There was a good article in the Grauny today about how they're developing the squad - the u23s are now the B team and the aim is for the Academy to provide half of the first team squad. If we just manage to hang on to Ralph beyond his contract (I think he's decent enough to see it out at least),... And given that I'm hoping to move to Salisbury soon I'm hoping to get to a few home games when it's allowed, it would be great if it's still the RH era.
Tonights’s forum derby seemed to turn on fould missed by the ref just before the first goal. But we are short of goals, and those things hurt ypu more at such times.
Well done Alison. Ralf I suspect will be more worried about the never ending injuries and a potential fixture pile up than the defeat.

Not a great deal to say except the predictable.... we are still playing quite well but finishing badly, in the shots themselves and the final ball-in. As the season goes along, I do see Jota as the most damaging absence. He brought fresh impetus and ideas to the front three just when Firmino was seeming a little jaded and in need of a break (he still does, I'm afraid...). And great goals of course. But the various (!) makeshift defences are doing well, Fabinho is an excellent centre back, and Thiago performing very well in midfield..... so, some positive signs, but.....still not sure where the goals will come from...
Allison kept us in it late on of course.... United might indeed have done better with a bolder approach earlier...but they are evidently a much-improved team....
As for The Premiership..... I recall a phrase Brian Moore used, notorious among Liverpool fans, from a terrible night (and year) here in 1989.....
The no snogging rule only partially met by Spurs. Liverpool didn't deserve their point and Palace have held out for 9 minutes now (which is good coz this game ends 5/6 nil).

Taking KdB and Gundogan off with a good 20 odd minutes to go showed City were happy with 3-0. Shame. I wanted a goal fest. 78% possession, Palace with not a shot on goal. Should've ended worse than 4-0 for them.
I believe Everton are 2 points behind Liverpool with a game in hand. Speaking as a neutral observer, it WOULD be nice to see the title won by a side other than 'the usual suspects'. Perhaps Everton's time has come - or is at least coming?
