Oops, I somehow overlooked the fact that Saints v Moneychester C is on that channel - thanks Sainty.

Hoping Saints look a bit more up for it than they did towards the end vs Arsenal. Maybe put Redders on from the start?

Yep, not quite sure why he is currently a bit out of favour. He is certainly a first choice player in my view, especially against the better sides. We have great options among our wide players, but I'd start him most weeks. Maybe a lingering twinge in his hamstring, or a bit of squad rotation ?
I like Armstrong, who is great around the opposition box, but still an occasional liability with stray passes. And Djenepo has a lot to learn yet.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

To be fair, he’s said this in the past when his team won.

Yes, maybe a twinge stopping him starting. He was that close to winning it/equalising in advance - finding space to get those shots away despite Arsenal's defensive set-up after Gabriel's visit was cut short. I'd want him to be an option for Saturday.

We're agreed on Stuey A - but what a midfield that is becoming - and I too would like to see more from Djenepo than the occasional flash of brilliance.

Big game for the Buddies today against the kid-on Saints, after the heroics against Rangers on Wednesday - toughie, but would be great to keep the run going. Come on Big Jim (he got sent off on Wednesday after over-celebrating the winning goal)!

Sorry to Palace fans, but if you neutrals didn't see it live, watch MotD for a finishing masterclass from the Reds today. Remarkable. I've not seen many better than that. I went very loud.... then very quiet.... awestruck....

Klopp was very humane and restrained at the end; extarordinary man. He remembers, we all remember what its like to catch 7-against, that Villa game seems an age away now - but oh, how we learned from it, and this win was well out of the ordinary.....

My favourite? Very hard choice, probably Firmino for the 3rd....because of the touch-control and the sidefoot finish... exactly why we call this the beautiful game.....

What, only 7? If I'd spent that much I'd expect better.

No end product is there? Yet they woke up in the last few minutes and almost equalised.....

Without an in-form Aubameyang (a striking genius when fit and ready) their attacks - or rather their attempts to attack - lack any focus....Willian runs back and forth across the opposing defence, not sure where to put the ball-in..... square pass follows square pass.....

Enjoyable game with Everton, though a shame James (Rodriguez) couldn't play - love watching him, a true football artist and a bit of a dish too...
