Familiar problems for BHA, but they should have enough to keep clear of serious problems.
Pleased to see Saints win this. For a Palace fan this is the instinctive preference when BHA are involved. I left it at 1-0 to watch University Challenge, suspecting Saints might well come back - Brighton do seem to be playing quite well without getting results.

Lots of controversy around the winning penalty. It was a very hard one for the ref to call, but March deliberately took out KWP in a really dangerous position, so he can't have too many complaints.
BHA will be OK, I suspect, they are a useful side, who have developed the jitters at home .

Unless they end up the A N Other alongside the Blades and the Baggies!

You win some, you lose some. We've been on both ends of iffy VAR rulings this season. The game which Palace won 5-1 (just mentioning) v West Brom could easily have flipped the other way without the very borderline red card.

                He wasn’t anywhere near Huddersfield!

                Terriers 2 Owls 0

Sheffield Steel currently strong enough to support the whole of the Championship and the Prem, but I would not recommend them to Railtrack for producing points!

Commiserations for last night Mario.....I said it wouldn't be dull! Another remarkable 2020 game.
United have to sort out why they are such a bizarrely second-half team....

But your problems are all too obvious aren't they? Just watch Maguire when RBL get their crucial 3rd.... so slow, so unaware.... this is an England international central defender, so.......

We can relax tonight of course, so it will be interesting to see the team Klopp puts out....pick of the games tonight is Real v Moenchengladbach....real edge to that one.

No-one expected a thriller with Midtjylland but 99 minutes in the world of the VAR-bizarre.... .... gotta hang around now just to see all those decisions again....!

We always wanted him to be Scottish, and called him Paul Rothesay just in case he wanted to change allegiance, but sad to see the death at 64 of the great Italian, Paulo Rossi, who scored that great hat trick in '82 against Brazil.

Yes, I was reading the obits....I recall the Italy 3 Brazil 2 like it was yesterday! One of the all time great matches, personally and universally... I'd just returned from Switzerland where I'd befriended Italian/Swiss from Ticino, and once they knew I was a Liverpool fan I hardly paid for a meal again...!

They brought in the Gazetta dello Sport, proudly showing off its two pages per match...

I was back here for Italy's extraordinary Spanish Triumph, classic zero to hero story for both the team and Rossi himself after the matchfix scandal (Rossi was truly the wronged victim).... "This Means More" certainly applied after those Swiss encounters. I so wanted Italy to do well.

He looked thin and tired in the group games where Italy only just scraped through after three dull draws, but after their stunning counterattacking 2-1 against Argentina (Maradona sent off for retaliation having been kicked to pieces to by Gentile, ah, those were the days...)... the Brazil match was a true final in itself. Just look at the diagonal cross field balls leading to the first goal. Could be the CL of today.

The 40 year-old Dino Zoff was as much a hero as Rossi..... what game that was.

The Mancs derby looks promising doesn't it? Quite a few storylines going in to that one! Potential for high drama..

Brilliant, Jayne. Thanks for the tale - a truly memorable match. I was in the States at the time and had to watch the games on Mexican TV cos the US TV channels weren't showing any of the games...so I couldn't understand much of the commentary. Until the final that was, and ABC (or the like) showed the Italy-Germany game - the commentators had little concept of the game - nor the advertisers. When the ball went out for a corner they would nip away for a quick ad and come back and the ball would be somewhere else on the park. Mad! I realised then the problem that the U.S. networks had with footie. Really enjoyed that Italian outfit. R.I.P. Paolo
