Buddies were ordered to hand a bunch of points out to rivals after getting penalised by the SPFL for Covid breaches in October - two 3-0 losses, one to Motherwell and one to Hamilton, and a £40,000 fine, suspended till the summer. Thought the SPFL had decided against it, but no! Don't see the beaks having a go at Celtic and Aberdeen for earlier breaches...whoever said footie was fair ...2nd from bottom with a game in hand.

Much sympathy there jc, seems the SPFL have same ‘kick ‘em when they’re down’ approach! The second bottom is also common with the Owls - mind you if we could keep 11 men on the pitch for more than half an hour it might help but it’s good to have a manager who knows what he’s doing and though I don’t expect nice football anytime soon I think we’ll end up a few places up from the bottom three.

Football Committees . Sent to try us.
          Literally.

Hope you can appeal, JC. No doubt Celtic and Aberdeen are too big to take on.

A Mate of mine running an under 11 team had a sad experience a few years ago. Purely through an admin error he fielded an ineligible player in a county cup semi final, which his team won.
He 'fessed up when he realised his error , when submitting the team sheets . He was hauled up in front of the county FA, and despite everybody on all sides agreeing that a replay was the proper way to proceed, the FA refused, kicked his team out, and he had to face the boys and thirr parents, who fortunately were hugely forgiving, and bought him a case of beer for his troubles IIRC. The opposition were adamant that they didn't want to get to the final that way, but the blazers had their way.
          And these were under 11's.

No wonder VAR is a mess........

Not looking ideal for us at the moment but I think Pulis will put us right but it may take a week or two! The foxes have the sort of form at the moment against lowly sides that could just give the Blades their first win, but their form is so bad against all sides that you may be OK.

Only managed a point against the Dons, though they were down to 10 men...back bouncing on the bottom again after Hamilton Accies took advantage of Killie going down to ten to get three points.

Not the best game at the seaside tonight.Three very handy points courtesy of some wasteful finishing from Albion, a superb header from MoM Vesty, and a much improved second half from Saints. Ings and Redmond made a big difference in the second half. We hold and use the ball so much better with those two in the side.

Familiar problems for BHA, but they should have enough to keep clear of serious problems.
