bbm It's early days but automatic promotion from the Championship appears a pointless exercise, mind you Wagner seems to have made a successful entry of his gods into Valhalla Prem!

Forum derby at SMS tonight. Pulcers will doubtless be on the edge of his seat.

                  Indeed.
As some know, it's actually my partner who is the supporter, but I share in some of the excitement (and nod sympathetically when the referee gets all the blame, as he did on Saturday!).

So you don't like Manchester City, the team that was unlucky for so many decades, eventually did have a bit of luck.

So do you feel the same about Chelsea and PSG?

Wolves ( reserves) were deserved winners against Saints( half reserves) tonight.

I wouldn't want to take anything away from Wolves, who played some nice football from time to time, but Saints were beyond dreadful, considering the number of high value internationals in the team. I honestly wonder if they were really trying.

( No need for the Pulcers household to have been on the edge of their seats, it was a walk in the park once they got their noses in front).

I'm one of those old fashioned types who believe you should support your home town club.
My father was a City fan,he came from Moss Side.
I didn't want to follow his lead,I wanted to support the team that played just round the corner from where I was brought up.
The patronising attitude of City fans to Stockport fans used to grate,it then turned quite nasty from some during the short period of time when we were higher up the league than them
I hate the fact that Stockport born and bred football fans have season tickets at citeh.
All very childish I know but it is what it is.

Can't speak for PSG but Chelsea and Man City were extremely lucky to acquire rich owners to pull them out of the the yoyo
scenario being able to spend without penalties before the (Un)fair play rules came in, and now, not that they are likely to need them, there are boomerang, sorry parachute payments, to bounce them back should they have a bad season.

A TV aerial engineer came yesterday to fix our non-existent signal. He supported Man U, despite having lived his entire life in Devon. As for me, I was brought up in Swinton, before moving to Marple, so I should really support Man U or Salford City ( to both). But by the time I was old enough to go to my first match, it had to be Stockport County.
