Good cup win but unfortunate price of our top striker being stretchered off! Hopefully only out short-term!
As of yesterday, 121 Premier League players were out injured. I don't think we need to look far for the reason - fixture congestion. Perhaps clubs should have designated squads for matches other than Premier League and European fixtures.
Incredible game.... lived dangerously in the first half (Adrian! ), passed & pressed them off the park 2ndhalf, lack of last-third penetration solved by a wonder goal from Curtis Jones.... all the wonder kids did very well...!
Thought Everton would offer more though....Ancelotti won't be happy with that...
