Likewise, Alison. Great to see Ralph looking so cheered - always feel for the Norwich boss after every match as he looks like he can't believe they haven't managed to get to the check-out with the three points, though gurney probably not too bothered about that yesterday. But the Foxes' old boss seems to be really working miracles for Watford so far.

                Vanarama National League

With this latest defeat AFC Fylde drop into the relegation zone. Although playing well again they just couldn't score against table topping Barrow. With AFC Fylde having played Stockport and Barrow so close together I think Stockport looked slightly the most dangerous side of the two.

In the FA Cup 3rd round tie on Sunday think Sheffield Utd might easily give AFC Fylde a good hammering. That is Sheffield Utd having nicely limbered up after tonight's game against current FIFA Club World Cup and European Cup winners Liverpool.

                        Leicester 2 Wigan 0.

Sounded something of a stroll on BBC Leicester although Brendan quite scathing about the performance afterwards.

                          Brighton 0 Sheffield Wednesday 1.

Forum derby and no late drama for Cloughmeister on this occasion.

Good cup win but unfortunate price of our top striker being stretchered off! Hopefully only out short-term!

Hope he’s ok Cloughie. Great result for the Owls.

A dull affair at SMS, more or less a training game, ( for both teams) enlivened by one tidy and one excellent finish from two youngsters.
Injury avoidance at a premium even among a more or less second string team.
Lots of families there today, which was good ( £10 adults, kids for £1), but the third round used to be, well, like this.....

Must confess there didn’t seem much magic in the air today.
