A former forumist would be quietly pleased with that result but at the same time feel for your loss! Presumably the bye is the Bury factor! The real justice now would be for the Hangers to get the bye, beat the Black Cats in Round 2, and then take the Owls to a replay in R3, or even better beat the Blades, no Cardiff in R3 and then finally meet ... but now I’m fantasising, but to beat Cardiff as a result of a dubious ref decision would be tops!

Might have been different if a penalty had been awarded when the somewhat bulky centre half who used to play for Tranmere virtually caught the ball from a goal bound header. Where do they get these referees from ?

On another day we might have had 2 penalties.
We didn’t play well really but maybe should have got a replay.

Proper football town, Brackley.......

Good point for my lot at Wolves in a forum derby, after a couple of very poor efforts in recent games.
Our away form even over the last few years has been pretty decent, its those pesky home fixtures where we continue to struggle.

The Saints were guaranteed to march in after todays game in Paisley, I guess.

No, I’m off to Europe for a few days Alison, so i’ll miss this one, and won’t even see it on telly. If Saints get a bit of confidence and form after the point at the weekend, it could be a good game.
We need to stay 3 at the back to counter Vardy, IMO.
