I read the BBC site which clearly read Doncaster had won but now reads Charlton have won - ah well - I can only go on what I see.

No it is correct Portsmouth and Wolves did play in the 4th!

...and another useless fact which may be of interest to you edge, as it is on your doorstep, but the you probably already know, Glossop North End were in the top flight in the 1899-1900 season!
