Taking each game as it comes of course!

Disappointed in Arsenal though... a coupla decisions went our way, yes, but with their recent record & gifted personnel, where was the fight, the creativity....?

Amazing ball out from Alisson to Salah for the 4th - the creative side of "good goalkeeping" - wow!... see it on MotD...

          Complete the set

          Score at 95 mins

          Baggies 0 Owls 1

          Final score

          Baggies 1 Owls 1

But 7 points from 3 matches - maybe some positives there!

...and White Tigers winning 4-1 away!

2019 is to be the year of 3 points every match, anton!

Wonder if Man U will turn it on again...fascinating stuff this Christmas....(oh and, if you haven't seen the Alisson - Salah pass for Reds' 4th against Gunners yesterday, seek it out fast! Don't see those too often, do you? Quite stunning.)

All I can hope for is that the winter break brings a few changes to the fortunes of the Buddies, but you can't give Steve Clarke's Killie a two-goal lead and hope to recover. Another goal from the Southampton on-loan defender, Jones, yesterday. I expect there will be some new faces coming in during the window - hope so anyway or we're doomed.

New faces , esp a CB needed at The Southern Saints too, JC.

Anyway, after not rotating and losing to West Ham, Ralph decided to rotate and lose to City today.

Despite fielding a string of second choice lads, and conceding an early goal, we made a good fist of the first half, getting a deserved equaliser, and missing out on a penalty on the Big Clubs Rule, before a somewhat lucky OG, and the obligatory awful defending for a third in the space of a few minutes just before the break all but settled the match.

Second half damage limitation was undone by the otherwise excellent Hojberg getting a needless red card ( which looked a tad harsh) for a late challenge.
Hey ho, we would have settled for this position when Hughes got the vote of confidence, and bigger battles are ahead. At least the weather was mild.

Anybody got a commanding Centre Half we could have on easy terms ?

                          Man U turned up

I'm finished with them - Pogba can go ***** himself.

You play for the club, the fans, your team-mates, because you get paid - not when you choose according to your own narcissistic whim - I hope Spurs or Liverpool win the Premiership.

Good report Sainty and I’m sorry no points to add to the tally.

I feel sure the change of manager will yield great dividends in the weeks and months ahead.

You need a Robert Huth type of signing!

Yes we do need a Huth alike.
However, I am reasonbly optimistic, the new manager is making positive changes, such as giving youngsters a chance, and using the breathing room from the two wins to get a good look at his squad before the real crunch comes.
I think he will prove to be an astute managerial change.
