There was always a very good chance that City would slip from last seasons standards for a while. Top of the curve and everything, and with that pesky CL to distract. Its a long old road, and every PL team can do you if you allow them.

Anyway, sublime finish from Mo, they’ll be trying that out in playgrounds ( and office five a sides) for months.

Well done Palace, they are team with a bit of everything, and always have a goal in them.

Only heard the Saints game in snatches , but what a big win that is. And a goal for a young striker always fills the heart with a bit of extra hope.

One of those great days for Palace fans (fairly rare recently). A fighting display to gain a win against the odds + Townsend's exquisite 30 yard goal of season volley - saw it via an internet feed - and no doubt first up on MotD. ...also Brighton lost.
