Two great strikes from an often frantic, error-strewn Argentinian team... but what a perfect, exhilarating, picture-book volleyed winner from of all people - Marcos Rojo! Quite a moment. 86th minute, stadium goes crazy, the whole squad charged across the pitch..

Only caught the second half of the Argentina game, but it was a stirring encounter. Would almost have been better suited to a cold January afternoon. Rojo’s finish deserved to win any game. Amazing support in sheer numbers that the various South American teams have had .
England fans seem to have lost their appetite for foreign travel in vast numbers. Great to see the Argentina v Nigera ia match. It’s a pity that Nigeria lost, as they most certainly put up a great challenge. I think England could put up a great challenge to Argentina!Don’t cry for me
