            I met Colin Dexter once at a function in Oxford about 25 odd years ago and he was a very warm, humorous man, with a love of opera and Wagner in particular. He told me that Die Walküre was his favourite. I've never watched any of the Morse or Lewis TV series but loved the books.

              Read all the books and saw all the TV ..... loved it all. He knew when to stop ......
