One of those red ones filled with sand? Perhaps some bright spark will see the light when looking for a present for you?

          As it is April 23

Shakespeare went into the pub an ordered a pint of ale

          The landlord replied you’re barred

Will said I know and your spelling is terrible!

Not the only one, but I refrained from posting as I couldn't match it.

The penny had dropped here also! Is a sin till an alternative term to a swear box?

I'd assumed people were, arguably rightly, ignoring it.

From the seasonal veg tips that came with yesterday's delivery from Riverford.
(Posted here for its humour value rather than on Pedants' Paradise.)

Toast a slice of good bread and rub it vigorously with a cut clove of garlic.
Do the same with half a ripe tomato.

Wouldn't that potentially make the toaster a bit messy?

I’ve had both jabs now, thank goodness! Last time I felt so fatigued, I stayed in bed, most of the day! This time, thus far, since Friday, I e had nothing at all! Perhaps the pint of Real Ale I had, didn’t help?!?!?

Which jab did you have; I have seen a suggestion that more people experience side effects after the first AZ jab, but the second tends to be fine, whereas side effects are more common after the second jab for the Pfizer vaccine.
"I do not approve of anything that tampers with natural ignorance. Ignorance is like a delicate exotic fruit; touch it and the bloom is gone. The whole theory of modern education is radically unsound. Fortunately in England, at any rate, education produces no effect whatsoever. If it did, it would prove a serious danger to the upper classes, and probably lead to acts of violence in Grosvenor Square."

I've had 2 AZs and my better half has had 2 Pfizers, and neither of us has suffered any side-effects whatever, I'm pleased to say.

Both AZ here - both side-effect free.

After first AZ, felt a bit fluey the day after. Second one, maybe a bit sleepy, but that's nothing new. Definitely no worrying side-effects.
