    What about the telephone?
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Good-oh. So your outing was not in vain. Wasn't sure whether I'd missed the result.

....Having listened/watched a great deal of Stewart Lee and Seinfeld recently (lots) I was hoping that i could turn this adventure into a zaney romp with lots of gags....but unfortunately after my long walk + 2 x 30minute dog walks ....I was too tired to give it my attention, and invent a few bits to make it a bit more bizarre....luckily my adrenaline burst due to my dumbskull action seems to have fueled the occasion, but I think I will be a bit empty of energy tomorrow...

The things misheard on the radio. I thought that Wolfgang Amadeus lives on when listening to Radio Cornwall when the newsreader at the end of his bulletin said ‘and you can ask Mozart speakers for the hourly news bulletins. Actually he said ‘Most smart speakers’. However the seed has been sown and Alexa now operates my Mozart speaker!

On this occasion, for "cloughie", read "cloth-ears"?

How do you "insult" someone who didn't understand what a 'smart speaker' was

Actually, I am not too sure, myself (what a smart speaker is), though I have a vague idea that I do not need one.

Cheeky s.., Bryn - It was bad diction! ...and ff you insult me I use one regularly but I’ll add just for radio - it was a Christmas gift from the younger generation in 2019. But I am wary of Alexa’s nosiness and always switch off at the wall when not listening but it is very convenient for switching stations!

The intention of my message was to laugh with, rather than at, you.

And what are the chances of finding a Mozart speaker when you want a bulletin - even assuming you know how to identify such individuals. Do they have a chocolate attached to a lapel?
