I have just bought a 2 LP set of this opera, and it sounds very interesting. Close perhaps to Shostakovich, but not very close. Does anyone know anything about this opera, or its composer? Its all in Polish and there isnt a translation. The label is Polskie Nagrania and the sound quality is excellent.
