    Beethoven: Duh duh duh DUH

Nyman - Please make it stop

Bruckner - Same sh1t, different symphony

Bach - Too much Protestant counterpoint [pace Beecham]

An inauspicious start to a silly thread - mistakenly stuck into "Announcements". Sorry, Hosts. May someone move this, if possible?

I think Moderatorial powers in the Announcements thread are reserved to Our Glorious Leader - in fact, I'm quite surprised you were able to launch a thread there, I thought it was the exclusive preserve of The Management!

Frenchie will have to hoick it over to Platform 3...

I rather like your iconoclastic bent

John Cage: 4'33" - not nearly enough
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Brahms - Let's keep this SERIOUS.

                            Messiaen: Hasn't it finished yet?!

Edit: as Cali has already done a more charitable version for Olivier, substitute any composer who you think goes on a bit.
