    The newest stable version 2.8.18 needed to be coaxed a little to work in Sierra, but is now fine. I'm afraid I have no idea what a RAW image is, nor a RAW plugin. GIMP does everything I want it to (and a lot that I've never explored), using whatever images I want to use. And it's free

      Must be a new version out there then. TBH I've not missed it as Preview does it all.
