I went to one of his shows a few years ago and the interval turned out to be at around midnight, the show beginning at 7.30! He did warn everybody via the box office to bring their sleeping bags as his shows notoriously go on till around 2am! The man is a legend, keeping up a non-stop barrage of totally hilarious jokes completely from memory and seemingly making them up as he went along. A well deserved knighthood.
