And every good wish to you too, bbm. And to all.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

According to my local authority's lights in the nearest town centre it is Yulefest.

                Merry Yulefest Everyone.

Combining the Forum's 'Stormy Weather' and 'Choir' precincts (but here is perhaps safer than the latter ), no coats needed by this gang this morning!

Merry peaceful Christmases to all and a happy healthy 2017!
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Transferred 'Playing Elizabeth's Tune', the life and music of Wm Byrd, an exquisite 90mins documentary, rec BBC 4, May, 2009, to HD yesterday. Filmed at Tewksbury Abbey, it culminates with a complete performance of Byrd's, Mass for Four Voices by the Tallis Scholars - I doubt whether I'll see anything more compulsive over the Festive Season.

Now ready for A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, at 15.00hrs, today, R4, as Christmas begins for me. Compliments of the season.
