    A house up the lane has masses of flashing blue lights on the fascia and the family is doing a fine evening trade in takeaway kotswold kebabs and rent a wench services

            Especially as that can be confusing. I saw what I thought at first was an emergency vehicle ahead on an unlit country road and then realised it was a householder who'd gone to town(so to speak) on the flashing light front, favouring blue rather than multicolour( which would have removed the confusion).
