I was glibly going to add a Sibelius work, but then I thought ‘Jayne, how on earth did you get from Circus Polka to Sib 4’?

Surely you were well aware that Stravinsky was awarded the Wihuri-Sibelius Prize in 1963? (In connection with which he made an arrangement of a certain Canzonetta.)

Sibelius on his Fourth Symphony: "It stands as a protest against present-day music. It has absolutely nothing of the circus about it."

Is that from Canzonetta or Grieg PC?

Anyway I’ll go for the latter’s Wedding Day at Troldhaugen, which links both!
