              It might be fun if someone with far too much spare time on their hands compiled a list of pieces that featured in this thread, and their frequency.
              What a playlist that would make!

                  PS: For fhg and Pulcinella on LJ -> ETZ,

                  PPS: On Pulcinella's message # 1326, it would make an interesting exercise in Monte Carlo theory to compile the list of different works and their frequencies. I can say generally from eyeballing random pages that many works do occur often, clustered around obvious themes, sometimes within 30 posts of each other. Hence my own rules for trying to post compositions, which I'm the first to admit that I don't follow strictly (e.g. this post of a Georges Auric work just now):

                  * Unfamiliar composers
                  * Living composers
                  * Female composers
                  * Works that I've not yet posted in this thread
                  * Try to post only once per page

                  Yes, I can easily find instances from this year's and past year's threads where I've broken my own self-imposed criteria. But I like to think that more often than not, I've kept to those rules.

                    Not sure of the connection with Mavra, but I'm sure there is one, so ...

                          Most humble apologies, Ferney. I take that for a time in the sin bin?
