Yes, it is indeed perhaps stretching it a little in that it's not actually been performed daily since its emergence in February 1998! What's so good about this work is that most people these days refer to it simply as "Elgar 3" and don't even mention Payne's name when thinking of its title, which is surely the best compliment that Tony P could possibly be paid for his labours on it.

                    Anyway, stretching it even farther...
