'twas my response to all the rather off-topic extracts of a few letters from musically irrelevant words in a given response.

      Anyway:

A performers' perspective on bringing Beethoven’s liveliest symphony to the concert hall.

(does anyone know what Tchaikovsky works were used by Stravinsky in the Baisee..?)

The list is rather long, to save typing I will list just the opus numbers of the sources:

                          from piano works: op. 1, no. 1; op. 10, no. 2; op.19, no. 1; op. 19, no. 2; op. 19, no. 3; op. 19, no. 4; op. 39, no. 12; op. 40, no. 7; op. 40, no. 10; op. 51, no. 1; op. 51, no. 4.

                          from songs: op. 6, no. 3; op. 6, no. 6; op. 54, no. 7; op. 54, no. 10; op. 63, no. 6.

Stravinsky was unsure whether some sections were original or adaptations from Tchaikovsky. There are also several references to the symphonies, especially no. 5, and a few other works. See Eric Walter White: The Composer and his Works (pp. 310 and 311 in my edition dated 1966).
