                Chausson: Soir de fête (Alt+136 - or, alternatively, when creating or responding to an email, Insert - Symbol - select it - if you're using Windoze & MS Office - not that Debussy or Chausson would have known that)

                  Whenever the issue of accents etc comes up on here, I've tried typing 136 while at the same time holding down the Alt key, and nothing happens. If one is suppposed to blank the letter concerned (as when writing an email) that doesn't work either. Maybe it's just my computer.

                    Have you got the number lock "on" as you type, S_A? (And - this is the mistake I made at first - are you using the numbers from the Number Pad, and not the Function Keys?)
