... I was on a plane today and listened to Bruckner 9.

How strange.

I was on a plane to Boston only the day before and did exactly the same thing
(my choice the recent BBCSSO performance which is the subject of another thread).

The experience seemed even more mind-boggling lost in this stupendous sound-world high above the clouds ... well apart from a smiling BA flight attendant offering a wretched earthling's coffee or tea immediately prior to the earth-shattering climax in the Adagio.
