Mr Pee the author of post #4 in this thread; what he does as a vocation or profession or for a living I have no idea...(!)

The DPP's statement says that there was enough new evidence (especially medical) presented at the inquest to "provide a realistic prospect of successfully prosecuting PC Simon Harwood for the manslaughter of Mr Tomlinson". This is a reversal of his earlier decision before the inquest.
      This does seem fairly definite.

Yes, I wrote a much longer post earlier in which I used that phrase but a sub-editor subsequently cut it out . A duty of care includes not being negligent or reckless.

Mahlerei knows better than I do about what areas we should avoid. Asserting that someone is, or is not, 'guilty' and offering arguments or evidence to support such assertions could be seen as attempting to carry out what the court should be doing, and isn't very sensible. As Paul pointed out, we are much more visible than we may think and have already been contacted by Times Newspapers and given 24 hours to remove material. Lawyers are a sneaky lot!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

“If police officers are going to run the risk of prosecution every time they give somebody a gentle shove, then they're going to find it well-nigh impossible to police these kind of demonstrations in the future.”

            A “gentle” shove ???

What would have happened if a member of the public gave a Police Officer a gentle shove to the ground and the officer had died as a result?
Wouldn’t have taken as long for a prosecution for a start!

Be careful, Floss ... French Frank might get a phone call from another set of press lawyers.

Just an aside but HM The Queen was not a subscriber to the other Pink Paper.

Carrow Road is quite convenient from the Sandringham Estate.

Was that before or after she joined the Norfolk constabulary?

Ipswich fans meet the Norwich fans on their way to Portman Road on Sunday 13th April 2008.

Paul - I trust you noted the date of your second item?

Is the Racing Post also pink? I can't quite remember from my paper-boy days.
