This thread reminds me of a story I heard. The Who had been playing in LA and had an early flight to their next recital. As the limo was driving to LAX, Keith Moon swore and said 'We've got to go back to the hotel'. 'WHY?!', asked his band mates. 'I've forgotten something ', replied Moony.

So, the limo turned round and they headed back to the hotel. After they arrived, Moony jumped out the car and ran back inside. 5 minutes later he got back into the limo, empty handed, and it raced off so they could catch their flight. 'What was all that about? We thought you'd forgotten something'. 'I did', he answered. 'I forgot to smash the TV!'
